TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:
The Petitioner is seeking a Permanent No-Contact Order against you pursuant to the Workplace Violence Prevention Act. The District Court has issued an Ex Parte Temporary No-Contact Order for you to not contact the Petitioner or visit or enter the Petitioner's property, and A knowing violation of a civil no-contact order shall be punishable as contempt of court which may result in a fine or imprisonment. A Hearing has been set for 2:00pm on July 27, 2026, in Courtroom 6330 of the Mecklenburg County Courthouse on whether a permanent no-contact order should be entered.
YOU ARE REQUIRED to make defense to such pleading and appear at 2:00pm on July 27, 2026, in Courtroom 6330 of the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.
UPON YOUR FAILURE TO DO SO the Petitioner seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought as described above and as described in greater detail in the complaint filed in this matter.
