NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – 2026.07.14 The Board of Commissioners of the Town of Waxhaw will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 6:30 PM or soon thereafter in the Waxhaw Town Hall Board Chambers, located at 4218 Waxhaw-Marvin Road, Waxhaw, NC to receive public comment regarding the proposed designation of certain Town-owned property as economic development property pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes §158-7.1. The Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution determining that the above-referenced properties are being held for the purpose of economic development and may later be conveyed in accordance with the provisions of N.C.G.S. §158-7.1 to stimulate economic development, increase the tax base, create employment opportunities, and promote the general welfare of the Town and its citizens. The properties proposed for designation are: 321 North Broome Street, Waxhaw, NC, Parcel ID No. #05113037D 316 North Church Street, Waxhaw, NC, Parcel ID No. #05113037 The public is invited to attend the hearing to comment on the proposed designation of the above-referenced properties as being held for economic development purposes.
