NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF CHARLOTTE, N.C.
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to NCGS 160D-107(b) that a public hearing will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth St; Charlotte, North Carolina 28202, on Tuesday the 26th of May to consider the adoption of a proposed 150-day moratorium on the acceptance, processing, and approval of applications for new telecommunications and data storage facilities within the City of Charlotte, North Carolina and its ETJ. The purpose of the proposed moratorium is to allow the City to analyze and study the unique development, infrastructure and environmental impacts of data centers and prepare and consider appropriate regulatory and policy changes to address those impacts. Changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing. Please note this meeting will be available for live viewing through the City of Charlotte's Government Channel, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
