LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC and R.J. Reeper Construction, Inc. are soliciting sealed bids for Eastland Sports Complex – Retaining Wall Engineering and Construction, located near 5004 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205. The project consists exclusively of the engineering, design, and construction of retaining walls associated with site development. No building or architectural work is included. All retaining wall designs must be prepared and sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of North Carolina. Complete sealed and stamped engineered drawings and calculations must be submitted no later than June 26, 2026. Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women-Owned / Small Business Enterprises (WSBE) are strongly encouraged to participate. Good-faith efforts toward inclusion of certified MBE and WSBE firms will be required. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held May 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (EDT) at the project site near 5004 Central Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28205. Failure to attend may result in disqualification.
