Official Notice of the Metropolitan Public Transportation Authority's Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2027 and Public Hearing
The Metropolitan Public Transportation Authority's proposed budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 has been submitted to the authority's Board of Trustees and a copy is available for public inspection in the office of the city clerk for the City of Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 E. Fourth St., Charlotte, NC 28202 and on the authority's website at RideMPTA.com. The proposed budget is comprised of a FY2027 Operating Budget, FY2027 Debt Service Budget, and FY2027 – FY2031 Capital Improvement Plan.
The Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., for the purpose of receiving public comment on the proposed budget. The public hearing and monthly meeting will be held in Room 267 at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 E. Fourth St., Charlotte, NC 28202.
