NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – 2026.05.12 The Waxhaw Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 6:30 PM or soon thereafter in the Waxhaw Town Hall Board Chambers, located at 4218 Waxhaw-Marvin Road, Waxhaw, NC on the following items: Text Amendment Petition TA-002-2026 is a request by the Town of Waxhaw Planning Department to amend Chapters 4, 5, 7 and 13 of the Land Development Code (LDC) by updating various sections related to Minor Subdivisions, Private Streets and Lot Coverage. Changes are being recommended as part of a larger collection of amendments staff is recommending be made to improve the function of the code and make development and land use in the city more compatible with the comprehensive plan. The public is invited to attend the hearing. Substantial changes may occur to the request based on comments from the Public Hearing. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to recess the public hearing to another place and time.
