ADVERTISEMEN FOR BIDS Hole 10 Culvert Replacement CT Myers Golf Course Sealed bids [proposals] will be received by the Owner, Mecklenburg County, NC, in the Woods Conference Room at the Office of the Land Use and Environmental Services Agency [Address: 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28208; Attn: Amber Grzymski, Project Manager] until 2:00 p.m., local prevailing time [the clock in the conference room will determine the time of receipt] on June 9, 2026, and then at said office be publicly opened and read aloud for the following: HOLE 10 CULVERT REPLACEMENT: Includes clearing, the removal of approximately 290 feet of CMP culvert and installation of approximately 290 feet of CPE culvert with drop inlet structure, and other ancillary items. Sealed bids shall be marked on the exterior: CT Myers Golf Course - Hole 10 Culvert Replacement, and with the name, address, and North Carolina Contractor License Number of the Bidder. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a Bid Bond by an acceptable surety company of not less than five percent [5%] of the amount of the Base Bid, made payable to the Owner, as a Bid guarantee. A Performance and Payment Bond will be required for the successful Bidder in the amount of one hundred percent [100%] of the Contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract, payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials, and payment of all liabilities incurred in connection with the Work under this Contract. Each Bidder must be appropriately licensed as a General Contractor in compliance with NCGS 87. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any part of a Bid and to waive formalities and technicalities in the bidding procedure.
