NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL STATUTE §158-7.1. The City of Gastonia proposes to provide an Economic Development Grant pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 158-7.1, to Project Precise. The Gastonia City Council intends, subject to public comment at the public hearing for which notice is hereby given, to approve the extension to expand the facility by 12 months to commence operation on or before December 31, 2027. The Gastonia City Council believes this project will stimulate and stabilize the local economy, promote business, increase the tax base, and create new jobs in the City. The Gastonia City Council shall hold a public hearing on the City's proposed grant at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Gastonia City Hall, 181 S. South Street, Gastonia, North Carolina, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at which time any person may be heard regarding the proposed grants described herein. All interested persons are invited to attend and present their views. Following the public hearing, the Gastonia City Council intends to consider the request to approve the grant.
