SouthPark Community Partners SouthPark Symphony Park Renovation Request for Prequalification and Project Information and Outreach Session Rodgers will accept Trade Contractor prequalification applications for the subject project for the following bid packages: 03A Complete Concrete, 03B Site Concrete Paving, 04A Masonry, 05A Structural and Miscellaneous Steel, 05C Site Railings, 06A Boardwalks, 07A Roofing and Accessories, 07B Waterproofing/Caulking & Air-Barrier, 07E Exterior Cladding, 08B Passage Door Assemblies, 09A Drywall Assemblies, 09D Hard Tile, 09F Painting, 10A Specialties, 11E Play Equipment and Surfaces, 11H Prefabricated Structures, 22A Plumbing Systems, 23A HVAC, 26A Electrical Systems, 31A Complete Sitework, 32B Site Pavers and Furnishings, 32C Landscape and Irrigation, 31C Deep Foundations until May 4, 2026. Prequalification applications submitted late or incomplete will not be reviewed. The project is the renovation of SouthPark's Symphony Park and includes significant modifications to site elements, new restroom building structure, and new site utilities. Site, civil and landscape packages are thoughtfully designed to create a 'beautiful park that will set a new standard for what a public park should look like'. The design will include a level of intentionality and care to access and utilize the park, while offering new programming opportunities for area stakeholders and community groups, supporting events ranging from 5 – 5,000 people. Rodgers will host a Project Information and Outreach Session at 3:00 p.m. on April 22, 2026, at SouthPark Symphony Park located at 4400 Sharon Road, Charlotte, NC 28211.
