City of Statesville Warehouse Phase 3 & 4 BIDDER PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUEST: Wharton-Smith, Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk for Iredell County on the construction of the City of Statesville Warehouse Phase 3 & 4, project located at 915 Winston Avenue Statesville, NC 28977 will be accepting pre-qualification Forms (NC Part A and Part B) from construction subcontractors to get pre-qualified to bid on the below listed bid trade packages. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Includes +/- 8 acres of site work and site improvements. Phase 1 of this project is slated for a 90-day schedule starting in late August through November 2026. Tentative bid packages are listed below, and additional bid packages may be added or deleted at the discretion of the Construction Management. Bid Packages include, but are not limited to: sitework – (Clearing, site demolition, survey and layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, site water/sewer utilities, site concrete, fencing, asphalt paving, striping, decant, including hook up of Owner provided trailers). Wharton-Smith reserves the right to modify the above bid packages as needed. Prequalification applications are due by 5:00 PM, April 28, 2026. CBI/HUB firms are encouraged to participate at all levels of the project. Bids submitted by any bidder not prequalified shall be deemed nonresponsive. Exact bid date, time and location will be determined but bids are scheduled to be due in July 2026. Only bids from pre-qualified manufacturers and / or vendors will be accepted.
