ADVERTISEMENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The City of Monroe, North Car-olina Energy Services Depart-ment ("City") is soliciting quali-fications from qualified firms to provide professional services for the engineering, procure-ment, construction manage-ment, and commissioning sup-port associated with an expan-sion of the City's existing Lique-fied Natural Gas (LNG) peak shaving facility. Qualifications submittals must be clearly marked "2026 City of Monroe Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Peak-shaving Facility Expansion RFQ". Qualifica-tions submittals shall be one (1) hard copy delivered by mail and one (1) electronic copy in-cluded in the mailed package. Submittals are to be sent to: City of Monroe – Energy Services Attn: Darwin De Los Santos (General Manager of Engineering) 2201 Walkup Ave. Monroe, NC 28110 Submittals are due no later than April 21st, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST. Qualifications submit-ted late will not be considered or accepted. The Request for Qualifications document and appendices will be available electronically be-ginning March 10, 2026. Ques-tions must be submitted by March 24, 2026, with re-sponses issued by March 31, 2026. The City reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications, waive any formalities as may be permitted by law.
