UNION COUNTY – SOUTH PIEDMONT REGIONAL AUTOPSY CENTER PREQUALIFICATION TIME EXTENSION BIDDER PRE-QUALIFICATION TIME EXTENSION REQUEST: Due to recent weather Wharton-Smith, Inc., the Construction Manager at Risk for Union County on the construction of the South Piedmont Regional Autopsy Center project located at 3502 East Highway 74 Wingate, NC will now be accepting pre-qualification Forms (NC Part A and Part B) from construction subcontractors to get pre-qualified to bid on the below listed bid trade packages until as follows: Prequalification applications are due by 5:00 PM, February 19, 2026. CBI/HUB firms are encouraged to participate at all levels of the project. Bids submitted by any bidder not prequalified shall be deemed nonresponsive.
