NOTICE TO CONTACTORS: PRE-QUALIFICATION: Messer Construction is excited to announce the start of the prequalification process for first tier suppliers interested in bidding the Cabarrus County DSS facility – Bid Package #2 (reference NC GS 143-128.1, -129, 135.8 for prequalification details). This package includes MEP's, interior finishes and envelope elements, for a 5 story approximately 116,308 square foot and 1 story approximately 24,213 square foot office building renovation. The target bid date is March 2026. The participation of DBE firms is highly encouraged. Bids from contractors that are not prequalified will not be opened and will be rejected. All contractor prequalification forms are due into Messer Construction by 5:00 pm on February 27th, 2026. Bidders must meet this deadline to be considered for approval to bid the project.
