NOTICE is hereby given that public hearings to be conducted at 5:00 p.m. at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth St; Charlotte, North Carolina 28202, on Monday the 16th of February on the following petitions that propose changes to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Charlotte, North Carolina. Due to the number of public hearings scheduled for February 16, 2026, City Council Zoning Meeting, the meeting may be recessed at 10:00 pm. Please note this meeting will be available for live viewing through the City of Charlotte's Government Channel, Facebook page, and YouTube channel. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA ON CHANGES TO THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to NCGS 160D-601, a public hearing will be held by the City Council beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, 28202, on Monday, the 16th of February 2026 on the following Text Amendment:
2025-118 by City of Charlotte Planning, Design & Development Department to update the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to implement and support the goals and policies of the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan. This update includes proposed changes to provide greater clarity, update definitions, update graphics, adjust use permissions and prescribed conditions, make some changes and additions to development standards, update administrative process language, and correct scrivener's errors. There are proposed updates to 25 of the 39 UDO Articles.
