Prequalification Ad Blum Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager @ Risk by Iredell County and is seeking to pre-qualify construction trade contractors to submit bids for furnishing labor, materials, equipment and tools for Phase 2 of the Iredell County Farmers Market project in Troutman, NC. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The goal of this project is to allocate space on the existing Iredell County Fairgrounds for a new Regional Farmers Market in Troutman, NC. This phase of the project will include the setting of the PEMB market, which will include spaces for roughly 30 vendor stalls, restrooms, concessions area, storage areas, and conference room & office spaces. Site specific work will include demolition, earthwork & utilities, paving and landscaping. Additional details regarding a Project Information Session are forthcoming and will be announced at a later date. Blum Construction has a long-standing commitment to maximize minority and other HUB participation on all our projects, and we recognize the importance Iredell County places on minority and HUB participation. There is an established 10% MWBE participation goal on this project. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged. If MWBE subcontractors require assistance with bonding or payment terms, please let us know. Blum Construction has the ability to create custom solutions to support a successful project outcome. Examples of Trade Partner Support include quick pay arrangements, modified insurance limits, bonding access or alternative bonding solutions, joint check agreements, prequalification assistance, disaggregation of bid packages, alternate options for financial statements prequalification requirements, break out of materials and equipment to support cash flow.
