NOTICE TO CONTACTORS: BIDDER PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR PUBLIC TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION PACKAGE Messer Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk by Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and is seeking to pre-qualify vendors to submit bids for the Public Traffic Signalization Package for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Middle School #01 Project. The prequalification period begins immediately and will end on October 29, 2025 at 4 pm. The package being prequalified is for the installation of a new public traffic signal as part of the CMS Middle School #01 project, and the fiber underground required for the new signal. Once the prequalification period ends, the bidding for the Public Traffic Signalization Package is expected to begin on or about October 30, 2025. The participation of M/W/SBE firms is highly encouraged. All contractor prequalification forms are due into Messer Construction by 4:00 pm on October 29, 2025. Vendors must meet this deadline to be considered for approval to bid the project. During the bidding phase, only bids by pre-qualified bidders will be accepted.
