CITY OF BRADENTON, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: SURPLUS PROPERTY AND PROPERTY AVAILABLE FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING THE CITY OF BRADENTON CITY COUNCIL WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW A LIST OF CITY AND COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (CRA) OWNED PROPERTY THAT HAS BEEN OR MAY BE DECLARED SURPLUS AND DETERMINE WHICH OF SAID PROPERTIES MAY BE APPROPRIATE FOR USE AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THE CITY COUNCIL WILL REVIEW THE LIST AT THE PUBLIC HEARING AND MAY REVISE THE LIST AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE PUBLIC HEARING. FOLLOWING THE PUBLIC HEARING THE CITY COUNCIL SHALL ADOPT A RESOLUTION THAT INCLUDES A REVISED INVENTORY LIST OF SUCH PROPERTY. THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2026 TO RECEIVE COMMENT ON THE PROPERTIES THAT MAY BE DECLARED SURPLUS AND MAY BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING. THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD DURING THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED CITY COUNCIL MEETING AT 8:30 A.M. AT CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 101 OLD MAIN STREET, BRADENTON, FLORIDA 34205.
