SCHOOL DISTRICT OF MANATEE COUNTY PURCHASING DEPARTMENT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AT RISK SERVICES PROJECT NAME: Manatee Elementary Campus Wide HVAC Renovation PROJECT LOCATION: Manatee County REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: The School District of Manatee County is accepting statements of qualifications from firms for complete Construction Management at Risk Services for Manatee Elementary Campus Wide HVAC Renovation. The scope of work includes but is not limited to complete campus wide replacement of all M E P – to include all air side/hydronic side mechanical (except hot/cold hydronic pipe), boiler, pumps, controls, duct work, lighting/electrical switch gear, plumbing. Replace chiller. Also request to establish redundancy with chillers (only one unit at this time – would prefer 2 units). It would be beneficial if the chillers could be relocated to a better access part of the campus than current location. Request to bring building 9 on the chilled water/hot water loop. Lines were stubbed out to building 9 during the pipe replacement project completed summer of 2025. Essentially a total MEP replacement job. Plus, interior renovation. Replace all covered walks that are not aluminum. Glazing – review and asses, all original for 1994/1995 buildings not sure what has been done with the Pelot building, building 9 - 4 pack classroom wing. The project will be on an occupied campus and phased in a manner to ensure staff safety. The total project budget is estimated at $20,000,000.00.
