WEST MANATEE FIRE & RESCUE DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS 2nd READING RESOLUTION 2026-06: TENTATIVE 2026-2027 BUDGET 2nd READING ORDINANCE 2026-07: FIRE PREVENTION CODE RESOLUTION 2026-08: 2026 FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL CERTIFICATION Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the West Manatee Fire and Rescue District ("District") will hold three public hearings on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon as the matter may be heard. The purpose of the first public hearing is to hear and adopt the second reading of the proposed 2026-2027 Budget, Resolution 2026-06. The purpose of the second public hearing is to hear and adopt the second reading of the proposed Fire Prevention Code, Ordinance 2026-07. The purpose of the third public hearing is to hear, adopt, and certify the 2026 Final Assessment Roll, Resolution 2026-08. Following the public hearings, a regular business meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held. No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of this meeting. If any person desires to appeal any decision of the Board of Fire Commissioners or of any other board of commission of the District, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
