The City of Anna Maria Board of City Commissioners requests interested parties to submit formal sealed bids/proposals for the above referenced
Scope of Work: This section describes the construction services to be provided by the selected Contractor for the replacement of the public beach walkovers located at Elm Avenue and Spring Avenue. The Contractor shall verify existing site conditions during the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit and shall include all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permitting, inspections, documentation, temporary protection, disposal, and incidentals necessary to complete the Base Bid. The work shall comply with all applicable Florida Building Code requirements, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permits and conditions, City requirements, manufacturer recommendations, OSHA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. 1. GENERAL SCOPE REQUIREMENTS Some of the items listed may or may not be required. • The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, temporary protection, disposal, documentation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. • The Contractor shall obtain all required permits and shall be responsible for coordinating and successfully completing all required inspections and final permit close-out. • The Contractor shall verify all existing field conditions prior to commencement of work. • The Contractor shall coordinate construction activities with the City to minimize disruption to adjacent public beach access. • The Contractor shall protect all adjacent dunes, native vegetation, utilities, existing infrastructure, and public property throughout construction. • The Contractor shall provide temporary erosion and sediment control measures necessary to protect the work area. • The Contractor shall restore any damage caused by its operations, including damage to public property, adjacent beach access, utilities, vegetation, or dune systems. • The Contractor shall comply with all applicable environmental permit conditions, including protection of sea oats, dune vegetation, wildlife habitats, and other protected resources. • All work shall comply with applicable Florida Building Code requirements, OSHA requirements, manufacturer installation requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The Contractor shall be responsible for verifying all field dimensions and existing site conditions prior to submitting a bid. 2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of constructing two new ADA-compliant public beach walkovers at the following locations: • Elm Avenue Walkover: Approximately 50 feet long by 6 feet wide. Height maximum 24 inches • Spring Avenue Walkover: Approximately 75 feet long by 6 feet wide. Height maximum 40 inches The dimensions provided are for general reference only and are intended to assist bidders in understanding the approximate size of each project.

Due Date/Time: 9/15/2026 9:00:00 AM must receive bids no later than said date and time. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened.
