NOTICE OF HEARING CITY OF PALMETTO HEARINGS MAY BE CONTINUED FROM TIME TO TIME The Planning and Zoning Board will hold a Public Hearing on September 17, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. and the City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on September 28, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Palmetto City Hall Chambers, 516 8th Avenue West, Palmetto, Florida, to consider an application by Jet Mobile Homeowners Association, Inc., to consider adoption of the following Ordinance: ORDINANCE NO.: 2026-12 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALMETTO, FLORIDA, REZONING APPROXIMATELY 0.8+/- ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT NORTH OF ILLINOIS STREET, SOUTH AND EAST OF TENNESSEE STREET AND WEST OF WISCONSIN STREET, PALMETTO, FLORIDA, FROM CITY ZONING RM-6 (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO CITY ZONING MHP-1 (MOBILE HOME PARK), AND AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (JET MOBILE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.) If any person desires to appeal any decision of the City Commission or any other Board of the City, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Section 286.0105, F.S.) In addition, a complete legal description by metes and bounds and a copy of the Ordinance can be obtained from the Office of the Clerk or from the Development Services Division.
