WEST MANATEE FIRE & RESCUE DISTRICT NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS RESOLUTION 2026-04: 2024-2025 BUDGET AMENDMENT 1st READING RESOLUTION 2026-06: TENTATIVE 2025-2026 BUDGET 1st READING ORDINANCE 2026-07: FIRE PREVENTION CODE Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the West Manatee Fire and Rescue District ("District") will hold three public hearings on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon as the matter may be heard. The purpose of the first hearing is to amend the final budget for fiscal year 2025-2026, Resolution 2026-04. The purpose of the second public hearing is to hear the first reading of the proposed 2026-2027 Budget, Resolution 2026-06. The purpose of the third public hearing is to hear the first reading of the proposed Fire Prevention Code, Ordinance 2026-07. Following the public hearings, a regular business meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be held. No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of this meeting. If any person desires to appeal any decision of the Board of Fire Commissioners or of any other board of commission of the District, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
