AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 46, "SOLID WASTE," OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA CODE OF ORDINANCES; REVISING DEFINITIONS; UPDATING REQUIREMENTS FOR MANDATORY SOLID WASTE COLLECTION, availability charges, code violations and lien creation, LANDSCAPE DEBRIS, RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL CONTAINERS, VACATION RENTAL HOUSING UNITS, SIDE-DOOR AND CURBSIDE SERVICE, COLLECTION FEES, ENFORCEMENT, AND RELATED MATTERS; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA, REVISING THE ENTIRE CHAPTER 38, "PARKS AND RECREATION", OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria City Commission will hold public hearings on August 27, 2026 at 10:00 A.M.
All hearings will be at City Hall of the City of Anna Maria, 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida 34216. All interested parties may appear at the meeting or utilize optional attendance by telecommunications media and be heard regarding this request.
For additional information contact the Anna Maria Clerks Office Copies of the proposed requests are on file at the City of Anna Maria City Hall, and may be reviewed by the public between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the board, agency, or commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
