NOTICE OF HEARING CITY OF PALMETTO HEARINGS MAY BE CONTINUED FROM TIME TO TIME The Planning and Zoning Board will hold a Public Hearing on July 16, 2026, at 5:45 p.m. and the City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on July 20, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Palmetto City Hall Chambers, 516 8th Avenue West, Palmetto, Florida, to consider an application by Palmetto Place, LLC, to consider adoption of the following Ordinances: ORDINANCE NO.: 2026-10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALMETTO, FLORIDA REZONING APPROXIMATELY 4.5 +/- ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 702 10th AVENUE WEST, PALMETTO, FLORIDA, FROM CITY ZONING P (PUBLIC), RM-6 (MULTI-FAMILY), AND CG (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) TO CITY ZONING PD-MU (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT MIXED USE), AND AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ORDINANCE NO.: 2026-11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALMETTO, FLORIDA APPROVING A GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING A MAXIMUM OF 178 MULTIFAMILY UNITS; 15,000 SQUARE FEET OF RETAIL/OFFICE/RESTAURANT, AND 6,700 SQUARE FEET OF AMENITY SPACE WITH CONDITIONS AND SPECIFIC APPROVALS LOCATED ON APPROXIMATELY 4.5+/- ACRES OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 702 10TH AVENUE WEST, PALMETTO, FLORIDA, AND AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (PALMETTO PLACE, LLC) If any person desires to appeal any decision of the City Commission or any other Board of the City, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Section 286.0105, F.S.) In addition, a complete legal description by metes and bounds and a copy of the Ordinance can be obtained from the Office of the Clerk or from the Development Services Division.
