CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS BEFORE THE CITY OF ANNA PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND CITY COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria Planning and Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on July 15, 2026 at 9:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as may be heard to consider: 1. A request to appeal staff's interpretation of Section 90-2(b)(2)a. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria Planning and Zoning Board will hold public hearings on July 15, 2026 at 9:00 A.M., and the City of Anna Maria City Commission will hold public hearings on July 23, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. or as soon thereafter as may be heard to consider: 1. A request for a variance from City of Anna Maria Code of Ordinances Section 114-423(c)(4) allow a 6ft tall fence exceeding the 4ft maximum height within the street yard setback at 204 Oak Avenue. 2. A request for a variance from City of Anna Maria Code of Ordinances Sections 114-222(3)b, 114-222(4), and 114-222(5) to construct a pool exceeding permitted lot coverage by 2%, encroaching 10ft 1in into a 20ft front setback, encroaching 5ft into a 10ft side setback, as well as constructing a pool equipment pad encroaching 3ft 6in into a 10ft side setback located at 308 Hardin Avenue. 3. A request for a variance from City of Anna Maria Code of Ordinances Sections 114-222(3)b, 114-222(4), and 114-222(5) to construct two (2) pools exceeding the permitted number of pools, exceeding the permitted lot coverage by 5%, encroaching 15ft into a 20ft front setback, encroaching 5ft into a 10ft side setback, and constructing two (2) pool equipment pads encroaching 3ft into a 10ft western side setback and encroaching 5in into the eastern side setback located at 314 Hardin Avenue. All hearings will be at City Hall of the City of Anna Maria, 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida 34216. All interested parties may appear at the meeting or utilize optional attendance by telecommunications media and be heard regarding this request.
