NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND SUBSEQUENT PUBLIC HEARING BRADENTON HOUSING AUTHORITY MOVING TO WORK PLAN The Bradenton Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking public input on its Moving to Work (MTW) Plan. The MTW Program is designed to (1) reduce costs and achieve greater cost effectiveness in Federal expenditures, (2) increase self-sufficiency among families served, and (3) increase housing choices for low-income families. The MTW Plan outlines the overall vision for the Bradenton Housing Authority and its participation in the MTW Program. The public comment period will begin Monday, June 1, 2026 and end Thursday, July 16, 2026. BHA will conduct a public hearing Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at 2002 9th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208. The BHA's Board of Commissioners will receive verbal and/or written comments on the Plan. The MTW Plan will be available for review beginning Monday, June 1, 2026 online at www.bradentonhousing.org and at 2002 9th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Persons requiring transportation and/or special accommodations to participate in the public hearing should call the BHA at 941-748-5568 before 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026.
