NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED FIRE ASSESSMENT RATES Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners ("Board") of the West Manatee Fire and Rescue District ("District") will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard at West Manatee Fire & Rescue District located at 710 63rd St. W., Bradenton, FL. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from any property owner in the District regarding adopting Fire Assessment Rates for 2026. Any property owner in the District has the right to file written comment and/or to testify at this hearing regarding the rate assessment for 2026. Following the public hearing, a regular business meeting of the Board will be held. No stenographic record by a certified court reporter is made of this meeting. If any person desires to appeal any decision of the Board of Fire Commissioners or of any other board of commission of the District, that person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, (F.S. 286.0105).
