Public Hearing Notice The Board of Fire Commissioners of the East Manatee Fire Rescue District will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly fire commission meeting to consider Resolution 26-07 – Non-Ad Valorem Assessment Schedule on Monday May 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the District's office located at 3200 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, Bradenton, FL 34211. This Resolution of the Board is for increasing the non-ad valorem assessment rate schedule by the personal income growth rate pursuant to Florida Statutes 191.009; adopting a preliminary non-ad valorem assessment role for fiscal year 2026-2027; authorizing review of the fire assessment roll; designating individuals to review and transmit the fire assessment roll to the Manatee County Property Appraiser; providing for an appeal, and establishing an effective date. The East Manatee Fire Rescue District prohibits discrimination in all services, programs, or activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, marital status, familial status, religion, or genetic information.
