City of Bradenton State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program
Main Sewer Line Replacement Assistance Funding Availability
The City of Bradenton has approximately $200,000 in SHIP housing rehabilitation funding available for residential main sewer line replacement and will be accepting applications beginning June 2, 2026, to assist households with replacing the sewer line that runs between the home and the city's sewer line.
Up to $5,000 per project is available as a grant. Additional grant funds may be available for homeowners located within the Community Redevelopment Areas (CRA).
To be considered for this funding, applicants must reside within the Bradenton City Limits. Funding will be provided on a first-qualified, first served basis, and household income cannot exceed the following limits:

6-person/$174,860
7-person/$186,900
8-person/$198,940
Special needs households will receive a priority for this funding. Applications will be available starting June 2, 2026, until June 30, 2027. Applications may be requested by emailing housing@bradentonfl.gov or by calling 941-932-9400, ext. 464.
