PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED COMMISSIONER HONORARIUM CHANGE NORTH RIVER FIRE DISTRICT Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 5:01 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at North River Fire District Station One, Administrative Building, 1225 14th Ave W., Palmetto, Florida. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from any property owner in the North River Fire District regarding the proposed change of the Commissioners Honorarium per Florida Statute 191.005. Any property owner in the District has the right to file a written comment and/or to testify at this hearing regarding the proposed change of the Commissioners' Honorarium. If a person desires to appeal any decision of the Fire District Board of Commissioners or of any other board or commission of the District, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
