NOTICE OF PROPOSED FEE ADOPTION/AMENDMENT The District Board of Trustees of State College of Florida, Manatee – Sarasota will consider amendments to and adoption of fees pertaining to the programs listed below at a public meeting as follows: Date and Time: Tuesday, March 31, 2026, 9:30 a.m. Place: Room 160, Building 7, State College of Florida, Sarasota – Manatee, 5840 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207 Course Number Revisions: Each of the below listed courses were previously followed by a C. This has been changed to an L to reflect the changes approved by the Curriculum Development Review. DEH 1002L - Introduction to Clinical Procedures Laboratory DEH 1800L - Clinical Dental Hygiene I Lab DEH 2802L - Clinical Dental Hygiene II DEH 2804L - Clinical Dental Hygiene III Laboratory DEH 2806L - Clinical Dental Hygiene IV Laboratory Course Fee Eliminations: LEI 1263 - Backpacking PEN 2251 – Canoeing EET 1033C – Electrical Fundamentals EET 1141C – Electronic Devices and Circuits EET 2142C - Electronic Devices and Circuits II Annual Insurance Fee Update: Insurance fees are updated to include courses requiring potentially hazardous materials and/or off-campus training. Testing Fee Clarification: Language is updated to eliminate the obsolete FCELPT (Florida College Entry Placement Test) and remove non-student testing. Purpose and Effect: Amendments to and adoption of fees pertaining to student programs in Dental Hygiene, Engineering Technology, Leisure, insurance fees and testing fees.
