INVITATION FOR BID MANATEE CHILDREN'S SERVICES INC. – 23156 REHAB PROJECT Manatee County Government, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as "the County"), will receive proposals from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, for the rehabilitation of a residential facility located in Bradenton, FL. The rehabilitation work involves, but is not limited to, installation of new impact windows and doors, replacement of the HVAC system, outdoor fence, general bathroom and electric repairs, kitchen upgrades, and general interior and exterior wall repairs. The contractor selected for this project will be responsible for furnishing all necessary engineered drawings, permits, materials, equipment, and labor for a complete project, in accordance with the specifications of this Invitation for Bid. This project is funded by a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), as administered through Manatee County. There are federal regulations that apply throughout the duration of the project's life cycle, including Davis-Bacon wage rates and Section 3 reporting.
