CITY OF BRADENTON, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Bradenton Planning Commission will meet in regular session on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 101 Old Main Street, Bradenton to consider the following items at a public hearing: RESOLUTION 26-02: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRADENTON GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT PLN-SUP-25-0024 TO ALLOW A PUBLIC FACILITY TO BE LOCATED AT 2115 9TH STREET EAST, BRADENTON, FLORIDA (PARCEL ID NO. 4687900059), AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. ORDINANCE 4069: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BRADENTON, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF BRADENTON LAND USE REGULATIONS TO ESTABLISH A PROCESS FOR CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES TO SEEK REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS FROM LOCAL LAND USE REGULATIONS AS MANDATED BY SECTION 397.487, FLORIDA STATUTES; FINDING THAT THE LAND USE REGULATIONS ALREADY PROVIDE A PROCESS FOR THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF CERTIFIED RECOVERY RESIDENCES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Application filed by the City of Bradenton. All interested persons and parties may appear either in person and be heard or submit written comments regarding the above matter to the Planning and Community Development Director and they will be heard and considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary.
