PUBLIC NOTICE
The Manatee County Floodplain Management section, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the Manatee County intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located south of Golf Course Road between Gamble Creek Road and Twin Rivers Trail. Specifically, the flood hazard information will be revised within the Gamble Creek Watershed. Neal Communities constructed a residential development located at the intersection of Golf Course Road and Canoe Creek Avenue as part of the Canoe Creek Development. 
 
As a result of the revision along Canoe Creek, the floodway will narrow and the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase and decrease, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen within the area of revision. In addition, the 1% annual change floodplain shall widen, narrow, and be established and the 1% annual chance water surface elevations shall increase and be established for several unnamed ponding areas within the area of revision.
 
Maps and a detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Manatee County Government Building and Development Services office at 1112 Manatee Avenue West, 4th Floor, Bradenton, FL 34205.
