LEGAL NOTICE Comments are being accepted on proposed changes to the regional long-range transportation plan, Communities in Motion 2050 (CIM 2050), and the regional transportation improvement program (TIP), the budget of transportation projects in Ada and Canyon Counties, to add two projects. Add an overpass at State Highway 16 connecting to Valnova Drive in Ada County. Add a study to extend State Highway 16 south of Interstate 84 to Bowmont Road south of the City of Nampa in Canyon County. Three additional projects are proposed to be added to the TIP that do not require an amendment to CIM 2050. In addition, a significant reduction in the scope and cost of an existing study is proposed. Add a comprehensive funding and financing strategy study for restoring intercity passenger rail along the Pioneer Corridor. Add a corridor-levelplanning and design project for an extension of Lake Hazel Road in the City of Boise. Add a three-part connectivity and safety improvement project on the Northside Corridor in the City of Nampa. Remove funding and decrease the scope of a study to extend State Highway 69 (Meridian Road) south of the City of Kuna. The funding would be moved to the State Highway 16 extension project (above).
