THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT OF BOISE CITY
Ada and Boise Counties, Idaho
Notice is hereby given, according to law and the action of the Board of Trustees, that an election will be held in The Independent School District of Boise City on September 1, 2026, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., for the purpose of electing one member of the Board of Trustees for a two-year term.

DISTRICT SERVICE CENTER: 8169 W. Victory Road. The District Service Center will also serve as the early voting and absentee voting site.
Qualification of School Electors - Any person voting, or offering to vote in this Trustee Election must: be eighteen (18) years of age; a United States citizen who has resided in the state of Idaho and in the Boise School District at least thirty (30) days preceding the election; and must be registered to vote in the school district. Persons not registered to vote may register at the polling place, and will be required to furnish picture identification and proof of residency.
Written Application for Absentee Voting by Mail – According to Idaho code, the ballots will be available for mailing on Monday, July 27, 2026. An application for an absentee ballot may be requested at any time up to August 21, 2026. The following information must be included in the written request: voter's full name, address, the address to which the ballot should be sent, and signature of the elector. Early voting at the District Service Center from August 17, 2026 – August 28, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
The Board of Trustees will canvass the returns of the election at the next regular Board Meeting to be held on September 14, 2026.
