NORTH ADA COUNTY FIRE & RESCUE DISTRICT
ADOPTION OF BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-27
[STATUTORY PROCEDURE I.C. §63-802 (1) (e) (f) and §31-1422]

LEGAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho Code § 63-802(1)(e), for consideration of the intent of the Board of Commissioners to approve the proposed budget for the fiscal year that begins on October 1, 2026 and ends September 30, 2027.
This public hearing will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. or as soon as can be heard, in the North Ada County Fire & Rescue District Administrative Office at Fire Station 16 located at 5800 Glenwood, Garden City, Idaho.

At said hearings interested persons may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the budget below or any parts therein described for fiscal year 2026-27 should not be adopted or modified.
A copy of the proposed budget is set forth below and is available on the District's website at: www.nacfire.org and may be inspected at the Administrative offices of the District at the address above stated between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on regular business days, Monday through Thursday.
This notice contains a statement of the estimated revenue from property taxes, and the total amount from sources other than property taxes, and also contains the proposed expenditures by fund for Fiscal Year 2026-27. The proposed budget is based on preliminary tax revenue estimates received by the District from the County and is subject to adjustment at the public hearing based upon final tax revenue figures which are anticipated to be received from the County prior to the budget hearing.

[I.C. § 31-1422(2)] Post: Notice of the budget hearing meeting shall be posted at least ten (10) full days prior to the date of said meeting in at least one (1) conspicuous place in each fire protection district to be determined by the board.
Publish: A copy of such notice shall also be published in a daily or weekly newspaper, in one (1) issue, during such ten (10) day period.
