NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR OFFICE OF COMMISSIONER OF SUBDISTRICT 3 NORTH ADA COUNTY FIRE & RESCUE DISTRICT [I.C. § 31-3912 (2)] NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: Vacancy Commissioner Subdistrict No. 3 Declared: That the Board of Commissioners of the North Ada County Fire & Rescue District, Ada County, declared the office of Commissioner of Subdistrict No. 3 to be vacant. Meeting To Fill Vacancy: The Board of Commissioners will meet at the Commissioners' Meeting Room at Station 16, 5800 Glenwood, Garden City, ID 83714 at 4 p.m. on August 3, 2026, at which time the Commissioners will consider all Written Requests for Appointment to the position of the office of Commissioner of Subdistrict No. 3 and consider the appointment of a qualified individual to fill the vacancy. Term of Office: The term of the appointed Commissioner for Subdistrict No. 3 will expire on the date of the first Board of Commissioners' meeting in January of 2030. Qualifications: Resident electors of North Ada County Fire & Rescue District, who are interested in being appointed to the position of Commissioner, are encouraged to submit a Written Requests for Appointment, which can be obtained from the District Secretary (at Fire Station 16, 5800 Glenwood, Garden City, ID 83714 or by email to Shelley@nacfire.org), no later than 5:00 p.m. on July 30th, 2026. In order to serve in this position a person must be a qualified elector of Subdistrict No. 3 and have been a resident within the Fire District for a period of at least one (1) year; and must be a resident within Subdistrict No. 3 for a period of 90 consecutive days prior to appointment.
