ORD-18-26 OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the city of Boise City, Idaho, adopted at its regular meeting of May 19, 2026, that Ordinance No. ORD-18-26 entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BOISE CITY CODE TITLE 3, CHAPTER 16, NONCONSENT TOWING SERVICES; AMENDING SECTION 3, SUBSECTION 2(M), AND SECTION 4, SUBSECTION 9 TO INCREASE FEES; AMENDING SECTION 7 TO UPDATE TOWING AND STORAGE FEES AND RATES; PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF THE READING RULES; APPROVING A SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The ordinance amends the existing Boise City Code ("B.C.C.") Title 3, Chapter 16, Nonconsent Towing Services, by increasing the fees enumerated within B.C.C. §§ 3-16-3-2(M), 3-16-4-9, 3-16-7, 3-16-7-1, 3-16-7-2, and 3-16-7-3. The ordinance removes the free first day of vehicle storage within B.C.C. § 3-16-7-2, as well as the special equipment fee, clean up fee, and free first hour of labor within B.C.C. § 3-16-7-3. The ordinance provides a waiver of the reading rules, approves this ordinance summary, and establishes the effective date of the ordinance. The effective date of the ordinance is the date of its passage, approval, and publication. A copy of the full text of the ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office, 150 North Capitol Boulevard, in Boise, Idaho 83701. Examination may be requested in writing or in person during regular business hours of the City Clerk's office, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. pursuant to Idaho Code section 50-901A(4).
