The project is located at the confluence of Poison Creek and the Salmon River along US-93 at milepost 280.26 between Ellis and Elk Bend, ID. The work generally consists of installing a single-span bridge on US-93 where Poison Creek crosses the highway, removing the existing culvert, and channel reconstruction on Poison Creek at the highway crossing. Construction is scheduled to commence July 1, 2026 with a completion date of September 1, 2027.
