LEGAL NOTICE BEFORE THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES OF THE STATE OF IDAHO NOTICE OF MORATORIUM EXTENSION Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 42-1805(7) Idaho Code, that on May 5, 2026, the Director of the Idaho Department of Water Resources signed an order extending the Boise Front Low Temperature Geothermal Resource Ground Water Management Area moratorium. The moratorium prohibits approval of applications to appropriate water and limits development under the existing permits to divert and use water in the thermal-artesian groundwater system lying within Townships 2, 3, and 4 North and Ranges 1, 2, and 3 East in Ada County. This extension order shall be effective on May 5, 2026 and shall remain in effect until May 7, 2029. Any person aggrieved by the order may file a Request for Hearing within fifteen (15) days after receipt of the order pursuant to Section 42-1701A(3), Idaho Code.
