A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include: Removal and replacement of all corroded materials within lab space with stainless steel or powder coated finish. Surfaces include but are not limited to the following: eyewash station, cabinetry hardware (pulls, hinges, catches), lab equipment attachments, screws in metal wall paneling at hoods, etc., sink faucets, etc. Replace all lighting with in-grid stainless or powder coated LEDs and upgrade controls. Modify HVAC system to improve room differential pressure to neutral to hallway and add filtration to improve external airborne environmental particulate infiltration, target particle count should match neighboring Picking Lab or SIRMS/ICPMS Lab. Add HEPA filters to the supply HVAC system. Use Booster fans on main supply or fan-filter units to improve room differential pressure to neutral to hallway.
