SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 962 The following is a summary of Ordinance No. 962, adopted by the City Council of the City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho, on February 24, 2026. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY IDAHO, AMENDING TITLE 11A, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 4, TABLE 2.2 "SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS", AND CHAPTER 2, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 4, EXHIBITS 2.2-2.8 THAT ESTABLISH REGULATIONS FOR THE SINGLE-FAMILY SPECIAL LOT (SFSL) TYPOLOGIES;" PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho: A summary of the principal provisions of Ordinance No. 962 of the City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho, as adopted by Eagle City Council on February 24, 2026, are as follows: Section 1: Amends Title 11A, Chapter 2, Section 4, Table 2.2 to establish a minimum alley-side setback requirement for Single-Family Residential uses and incorporates exhibits 2.2 through 2.5 illustrating Single-Family Special Lots (SFSL), including Front-Loaded Lots, Rear-Loaded Lots, Front-Loaded "Z" Lots and Rear-Loaded "Z" Lots. Section 2: Providing a severability clause. Section 3: The ordinance becomes effective after it is passed, approved, and published as required by law. A legally compliant summary may be published instead of the full ordinance, consistent with Idaho Code Section 50-901A.
