Syringa Irrigation Well
Sealed bid proposals will be received by The Board of Trustees, Independent School District of Boise City #1, Administrative Office, 8169 W. Victory Road, Boise, Idaho 83709, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday March 31, 2026, for the Syringa Irrigation Well Pump System, north side of W Lake Hazel Road, Township 2 North, Range 2 East, Section 6, SW ¼ of the NE ¼.
The project will consist of the procurement, installation, and startup of equipment for one irrigation well pumping system. The project will include installation of a well pump, submersible motor, drop pipe, pump cable, sounding tube, discharge head, mechanical piping, valves, appurtenances, pump controls, electrical equipment/connections and incidentals at an existing 14-inch well. The well pump system will be used to provide irrigation for the Syringa Middle/High School site.
A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 2 pm. The meeting will be held at the project site on the north side of Lake Hazel Road between S Orchard Street and S Cole Road. Attendance is strongly recommended but not required.
Bids will be opened at the above stated place and read aloud, following the closing time for receipt of bids. Bidders and other properly interested parties are invited to be present at bid opening.
Beginning Monday March 16, 2026, bidders may obtain digital copies of the drawings, specifications, bidding documents, and conditions of agreement. Digital copies are available by email from HDR Engineering, Inc. Email request for documents to sean.albertson@hdrinc.com. Indicate the project name, Syringa Irrigation Well Pump System in the subject line. Include Company Name, Company Address, Contact Person Name, and Phone Number in email body.
No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid or bids deemed best for the Independent School District of Boise City #1.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check drawn from an Idaho bank, or a bid bond with Idaho State Licensed Surety Company, in an amount not less than 5% of total bid. Checks and bonds shall be made payable to Independent School District of Boise City. This surety shall be forfeited by the Bidder in the event of failure to sign the contract or furnish the necessary 100% Performance Bond and the necessary 100% Payment Bond.
Bidders shall be licensed in the State of Idaho, in accordance with provisions of the act known as "Public Works Contractor's State License Law, Title 54, Chapter 19, Idaho Code Amended." The Term "Public Works Contractors" includes the general, sub, or specialty contractor. The bidder's name must agree to the name on the public works license that is referenced in the bid.
The successful Contractors shall carry out his employment practices and payment of wages according to the provisions of an act known as "Public Works Title 44, Chapter 10, Section 44-1001 through 44-1006 inclusive, Idaho Code Amended" and shall comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions as defined in the code of respective Federal Regulations.
