ORD-3-26 OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the city of Boise City, Idaho, adopted at its regular meeting of January 27, 2026, that Ordinance No. ORD-3-26 entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BOISE CITY CODE TITLE 3, CHAPTER 16, NONCONSENT TOWING SERVICES; AMENDING THE TITLE OF SECTION 4, SUBSECTION 6; AMENDING SECTION 2 TO ADD ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS; AMENDING SECTION 4, SUBSECTIONS 5, 6, AND 7 TO ALIGN WITH CHANGES TO THE IDAHO CODE; PROVIDING FOR A WAIVER OF THE READING RULES; APPROVING A SUMMARY OF THE ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The ordinance amends the existing Boise City Code ("B.C.C.") Title 3, Chapter 16, Nonconsent Towing Services, by amending the title of B.C.C. § 3-16-4-6. The ordinance amends B.C.C. § 3-16-2 by adding additional definitions. The ordinance amends B.C.C. §§ 3-16-4-5, 3-16-4-6, and 3-16-4-7 by aligning with updates to Idaho Code Title 49, Chapter 18. The ordinance provides a waiver of the reading rules, approves this ordinance summary, and establishes the effective date of the ordinance. The effective date of the ordinance is the date of its passage, approval, and publication. A copy of the full text of the ordinance is available at the City Clerk's office, 150 North Capitol Boulevard, in Boise, Idaho 83701. Examination may be requested in writing or in person during regular business hours of the City Clerk's office, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. pursuant to Idaho Code section 50-901A(4).
