LEGAL NOTICE DISPOSAL OF SURPLUS ASSETS AND EQUIPMENT Valley Regional Transit (VRT), the regional public transit authority for Ada and Canyon counties, intends to place for sale at auction surplus assets and equipment, including buses, service and support vehicles, and computer equipment in accordance with State of Idaho Statute Title 67, Chapter 57. The vehicles are beyond determined useful life as determined by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) or too costly to maintain. Other items are obsolete or not required for current operations. Notice is nearby given that the auction of surplus VRT property, as confirmed by public hearing at the August 4, 2025 VRT Board of Directors meeting, will begin January 26, 2026 and continue until all items are sold. Items will be listed for sale to the public at large and sold to the highest responsible bidder at ridevrt.org/auction.
