CORE Construction | Idaho Request applications for qualification from DPW licensed subcontractors for the following project: IDAHO DPW CSU HONORS COLLEGE DISH ROOM UPGRADE 1801 UNIVERSITY DRIVE BOISE, ID 83706 In general, the project consists of a BOISE STATE UNIVERSITY plan to upgrade and expand the Honors College Southfork Dish Room, reconfiguring approximately 1,400 square feet to improve effiviency, service, capacity and functionality. The project includes extending the existing dishwashing line, installing a new high-capacity dishwasher (owner-furnished), and expanding the dish room into adjacent office, storage, and alcove spaces. The current alcove will be converted into a custodial closet with a mop sink and shelving to better support operations. Updates to the convenience store area will include creating a new office, ice machine room, and custodial closet while integrating additional space into the main dining area to improve circulation and usability. New partition walls will match existing heights, and the existing window film will be removed to restore transparency. Construction will occur on an occupied campus, with work commencing following completion of construction documents and anticipated start date March 2026 with completion by May 2026. Scope includes the demolition of an office, storage room and janitor alcove to expand the existing dish line. The project is estimated to be between $250,000 to $300,000. Anticipated request for proposals will be issued on or about December 30th, 2025, with bids due on or about January 21, 2026.
