Ordinance NO. ORD-35-25 BY THE COUNCIL CORLESS, HALLYBURTON, MORALES, NASH, STEAD AND WILLITS. AN ORDINANCE (ZOA21-00002) AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 07 BOISE CITY CODE TO ADD SECTION 04 MURIO FARMS SPECIFIC PLAN; ADOPTING THE MURIO FARMS SPECIFIC PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the city of Boise City has conducted notice and hearing pursuant to the procedures and requirements of title 67, chapter 65, Idaho Code and title 11, chapter 5 of Boise City Code; and, WHEREAS, the Boise City Planning & Zoning Commission on March 4, 2024, held a public hearing on application ZOA21-00002 to adopt the Murio Farms Specific Plan as Title 11, Chapter 07, Section 04 and recommended denial; and, WHEREAS, the Boise City Council on November 12, 2024, held a public hearing on application ZOA21-00002 and approved the adoption of the Murio Farms Specific Plan and the proposed Title 11, Chapter 07, Section 04 Murio Farms Specific Plan as shown in Exhibit A; and, WHEREAS, the Boise City Council on March 11, 2025, held a public hearing on application ZOA21-00002 and approved the reasoned statement and conditions of approval for the Murio Farms Specific Plan and the proposed Title 11, Chapter 07, Section 04 Murio Farms Specific Plan as shown in Exhibit A. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO: Section 1. That existing Boise City Code Title 11, Chapter 07, shall be, and hereby is, amended to add Section 04: MURIO FARMS SPECIFIC PLAN and that the Murio Farms Specific Plan as shown in Exhibit A is hereby adopted. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon its passage, approval, and publication. ADOPTED by the Council of Boise City, Idaho, on October 28, 2025.
