Public Notice of Application for Consistency Determination Under the Coastal Zone Management Act Grantman MS, LLC has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state's approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act. The applicant is proposing to permanently fill 26.7 acres of non-tidal wetlands and 0.35 acre of other waters as well as impact 84 linear feet of stream for the construction of a single-family residential subdivision and associated impacts near Eglin Road, Ocean Springs, Jackson County, MS. Another 26.79 acres of non-tidal wetlands within the same project footprint was previously permitted under DMR23-000173. The proposed 26.7 acres of impact used to be part of impacts proposed in DMR22-000365 which was not permitted.
