HARRISON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD INTERIM APPOINTMENT BOARD OF TRUSTEES - DISTRICT 1 The Harrison County School District Board of Trustees announces that an interim District 1 School Board Member will be appointed. Pursuant to Mississippi law, the Board will appoint a qualified individual to serve until a successor is elected. Interested individuals must meet the qualifications established by the Mississippi Constitution and Mississippi Code, including the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Be a qualified elector (registered voter) of Harrison County School District Board District 1. • Have been a resident of Board District 1 for at least two (2) years preceding the date of appointment. • Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent. • Meet all other qualifications required by Mississippi law.
